Ma. Kristina Angela Ycasas:

During the first half of the school year, Computer Science is one of the subject I have low grades. My grade last first grading was 85. I still remember when my mother got angry with me. She said that how will I take up computer programming as my course in college if I got a low grade on that subject. I like to take this course because I like things that are related to computer, I don’t like to take any board exams. There’s one more thing, I want to be as rich as Bill Gates (hehe!!). I made those reason for me to study on this subject, not too much, but at least I will study… (“,) Whenever there is a test, I get so worried.

Now I think I was able to make myself to realize that, I should like the subject, not just let the subject to like me, because it’s impossible...(hehe!!!). I just have to enjoy it.

After several days of waiting, (charing!!!) our class cards was distributed. I first look at my grade in C.S... My nervousness stopped when I saw I got 89...Even if it is not line of 9, at least, I gain 4 points……..hehe!!!

Jeanne Paula Vitan:

I was not happy with the 3rd grading because we were not able to complete the snake program. Good thing I was transferred to group to with Rex, Lance and Marjorie as group mates, I’m sure that someone will explain things to me and we will work together. I enjoy our lessons now specially about the array of integers. About the randomize function, it was also easy for me. We didn’t have much time for hands on so I think I do not really have bad times this grading. Bad times for me are just when we don’t get the program first.

Ma. Pia Leona Satuito:

For the past quarter, or the third grading, I really enjoyed having hands-on because our group, group 7, became bigger and funnier. Jamaica Francisco became a part of us. We are now 5 in our group. Our group does nothing but laugh. Even if we do nothing on the hands-on, we are still laughing. We don’t mind getting low grade or doing nothing, we just enjoy the company of each and every one of us. I know that somehow, what we do will affect us, our grade because we’re just ignoring our score or even things we need to learn. We can’t help it; two of the funniest persons in the class belong to our group. But I know, for the last quarter, we will now be serious. We need to. For our group’s sake and also, for each of us.

The harder lesson in Computer Science for the fourth grading, because actually there were only two lessons, is the lesson about the array. It wasn’t really hard, but it could be confusing. At first, I did not understand why you have to use array. I mean, arrays are used to declare the number of memory cells to be used. I did not get the reason why we have to indicate it.

The lesson about the nested for was also hard, but if you would just analyze it, it would be easy. I thought that it was the same with gotoxy.
